The Rainbow Thread Screw is a PDO lifting thread used to lift and tighten the skin. The Screw Thread is a complex technique, which is developed as two twisted pairs of mono threads wrapped around the needle. Its spiral shape gives the thread a number of unique properties such as a more powerful lifting effect and a more intensively stimulation of the collagen and elastin formation. The Screw Thread accelerates stronger stimulation into the SMAS layers, where it helps tighten the slacking skin.

Furthermore, The Screw Thread provides additional volume and are capable of stretching and shrinking vertically due to its wide diameter of the curvature. The Screw Rainbow Thread can also be firmly attached to the patient’s tissue.

PDO Threads can be used alone or in combination with other treatments like fillers, PRP or chemical peels.

How long does the results last for?

Rainbow Thread has immediate tissue repairing effects, which can last up to 2 years. The threads are biodegradable and dissolves completely in the body within 1 to 2 years. The PDO gradually degrades about 2 weeks after the procedure.

The results depends on the patient’s age at the time of the treatment, the quality of the skin, the degree of sagging skin and the number of used threads.
